‘Tis the season to be jolly!
We don’t know about you, but 2023 has whizzed by for Team AwardStage; we thought we’d take a minute to look back at another action-packed year.
We’re all about making life easier for everyone - entrants, judges, and awards managers - when it comes to awards programmes, and this year has seen us develop some handy new features.
Way back at the start of the year, we added the option to tag entries. This is a great time-saving feature which allows you to add further information - such as ‘shortlisted’ or ‘qualified’ - to an entry, enabling you to easily filter and group entries.
The judging part of an awards programme can mystify even the most experienced awards manager, so this year we’ve continued our efforts to make the process as pain-free as possible. You can now import judges from a spreadsheet, meaning it’s lightning fast to add hundreds of judges in just a few clicks.
Once you’ve added your esteemed judges, it’s super simple to search for the one(s) you're after, and you can automatically assign entries to them too if you'd like. And once you’ve set up the first judging round, you can clone it as many times as you need to, copying over the scoring criteria, judges, and even entry assignments.
As well as whizzy new features, we’ve been busy working on an array of new awards, from gastropubs in New Zealand (which we’d all be willing to go and test ourselves…) to women in science and engineering, and everything in between.
And to top it off, we’ve enlisted some new recruits to both our technical and account management teams, as well as welcoming back the lovely Annie from maternity leave.
So it’s been another busy year for us, and we couldn’t have done any of it without you, our fabulous clients and users. We wish you all the best for the festive season ahead, and look forward to celebrating success with you in 2024!
